I don’t think any assistant coach in this league…[pauses] I think every assistant coach in this league aspires to be a head coach, unless they are older, and have already done it. Then, they just want to coach for the fun of it.

Do you think he’d be a good head coach (perhaps for a certain team in the same division with a coaching vacancy)?

I always go back to that David Thorpe quote
The one about how Pat is usually the coach chatting with the cheerleaders a few hours before the game while the other assistants help the players do their shooting drills.
It’s hard to gauge what sort of impact Pat has on the team, but he’s won Dwight’s seal of approval, so… there you go, I guess.
I imagine he’d do well with JaVale and Andray.
