Tonight's Game: Indiana Pacers at Orlando Magic

Indiana Pacers at Orlando Magic, Nov 29, 2008 7:00 PM EST

UPDATE: You gotta be kidding. Mickael Pietrus will miss 3-5 weeks with a torn ligament in his right thumb. He joins fellow guards Jameer Nelson, Keith Bogans, and Mike Wilks among the Magic's wounded.

J.J. Redick will start in his place.

This ---- is ridiculous.

Injuries

… as long as the Big Three stays healthy, I’m not overly concerned. In their careers, they’ve proven to be the most durable so … it’s all good. I’m anxious to see how J.J. performs. This is finally “the” chance he’s waiting to get. Hopefully he rises to the challenge.

This is ridiculous

Regardless, tonights win is very important in my eyes. It’s a game we should win and it’ll give us another four game win streak. It’s also important to end the month on a good note because December will be tough, ecspecially if we aren’t healthy.

Pacers

I was shocked to see them lose to Charlotte. If you look at their point differential and the oppenents they’ve played they look like a 45 win team. That was a bad loss and makes you wonder. However, maybe Charlotte is starting to get it together under a hall of fame couch? Could be.

Daniels made Hedo look bad last time, but Hedo gets a pass since he was sick. Will they be matched up again?

Granger injured?

ESPN said something about Danny Granger being day-to-day. Anyone know anything about this?

Granger

left Saturday’s game in the fourth quarter due to a sprained ankle, but it doesn’t sound like a serious injury.

Magic lead 58-47 at the half

They are outshooting the Pacers 51.2% (21 of 41) to 42% (21 of 50) from the field, 46.2% to 30% from three point range, and 71.4% to 40% from the free throw line. Rebounds are even at 24, and turnovers are even at ten.

DH with 18 points, AJ with 14 points lead the Magic.

Magic are well on their way to victory

When the Magic are shooting 54.5% from the field and 53% from three point range like they are so far against the Pacers, they are going to be awfully tough to beat or even stay close to.

Battie’s been solid off the bench.

All things considered, we’ve played pretty well.

Good game

Great crowd, too! :) I got to hang out after the game to get Jameer Nelson’s autograph. While in line, there was this huge group of Turkish tourists there getting their picture taken in center court when Hedo came out, and they all started chanting his name and I got to be within 50 feet of Hedo!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!

It warmed the cockles of my heart, lemme tell ya :D Hee I’m so happy!
